|
|
Hey Everyone,
I just extended my E2 visa for another year. Then I went home to visit my family for a few weeks. Problem- I forgot to get another "multi-entry visa." My single-entry visa says i must be back in korea by Sep. 30th, yet I was planning on staying until October 9th.
Does anyone know what the penalty would be if I came back on October 9th? Also, does anyone know if i can get a multi-entry visa at the Korean Consulate in the US? |

I am pretty certain your E2 visa will in effect be nullified the moment you re-enter anytime after Sept 30th. They would still allow you to enter but you would basically be coming in on a tourist visa. You would have to resubmit for a new visa and make a visa run in order to continue working.
You should be able to get the multiple or at least another valid single entry at the consulate in the US. I would check with them pronto. |
