Anybody else got one of these? I live in Seocho-gu, and it looks like I haven't been paying my resident tax, which makes sense since I don't work in Seoul, and prior to this, the resident taxes came out of my paycheck. These taxes were due a few months back, but I was out of the country Smile

Anybody else got one of these letters? if so, how much do you owe, and where / how did you pay?

Seocho-gu office has English speaking staff, so I'll go bug them on Friday morning.

Oh, and how much do you owe? Looks like I owe 8,000 won.

I got my tax for Gyeonggi-Do last month, it was about the same as yours, maybe a little less. I paid it as it was amazingly cheap compared to the resident's tax I had to pay in Japan.

Save yourself the trouble and move to Yongin.
