|

Is anyone else out there using Thrunet and having trouble accessing Yahoo websites? Started for me yesterday morning and I called Thrunet about it. The service guy was helpful enough but I don't think he entirely understood the situation. He wanted to send a tech to my house, but this has happened a couple times before and Thrunet always fixed it at their facilities. These sites work fine on a computer running KT Megapass, so I can't see that it's a Yahoo problem.
Anyone else? |

You might very well have to have a tech come to your house.
Korea and the USA seem to be in a battle over SPAM issues, which includes blocking certain routers to/from Korea by ISPs.
I had a similar issue with my USA website. I couldn't access it or update it. A tech had to come to my house and type in a proxy work-around into my Internet Explorer -- at least that appears to be what he did. He was here a good 30 minutes and made lots of phone calls.
Everything's fine now. Have the tech come. |

Yep for email.
Some of the addresses of friends in the US have my emails to them blocked. I'll get over it.
I'm also already receiving virus infected junk mail. That usually doesn't happen with a new address for several months. Obviously the thru in Thrunet is an allusion to how secure data on their servers is treated. |
