Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with taking the Beetle from Korea to Japan. I've made a reservation for a ferry from Busan to Hakata, but it doesn't give me an idea about boarding time. I initially tried to book the overnight Camilla ferry, but I was told that I would have to be there to board at 6:30pm for the night ferry that leaves at 10:30pm. Ridiculous, and impossible since I teach in Seoul until 6pm and clearly couldn't be there in Busan in time to board. I just don't want to run into a similar situation with the Beetle. I've booked for a 2pm departure time, and I'm hoping all will be well if I show up maybe 2-3 hours in advance.

Anyone know for certain?

You don't have to be there until about an hour before it sails. It is a lot more chill than the airport.

How long does the journey take please and how much does it cost?

I might give this a shot as I have a week between jobs coming up soon..
