Hi guys,

My friend has this exact thermostat: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd287/jroychow/koreaheating001.jpg

He turns on the red button then the green button below for hot water, but no hot water. BTW floor heating is working. My question is does it have to do with the light next to 운 전 not being green?

Thanks for your help.

You might have the dial under the white button set on 'out of home'. Turn that dial to a temperature. 100 C is boiling BTW. 60-70 C should be okay unless it's really cold outside.

Red Button - Power
Blue Button - Hot Water
White Button - Sets temperature of water (turn the dial summer, spring/fall, winter)
Grey Button - Sets temperature of floor heating
Purple Button - timer (numbers are hours)

Green lights - everything is okay. 운전 light means something is operating, so it could mean it is actually heating up water. It doesn't need to be on all the time.
Red light - something ain't working properly needs service

All temperatures are in Celsius. Usually takes a few minutes or more for the water to heat up. Once that 운전 light turns off your water should have hit your set temperature.

I've got the exact same unit.

For shower water, push the red button. The green button light should also come on. Dont push the green button till you want floor heat in winter.

Bottom dial on the left -- I leave that set at 75. Ample hot water after about 3 minutes.

Big middle dial -- winter room temp. Choose your setting. Red plus green button activates it (light comes on above it).

Right dial -- timer. I never use it. Setting doesnt matter if you dont push the purple button.

Hit the red button again to turn everything off when you're not using hot water. Saves gas.
