|
I'm leaving soon and Im planning on giving my co-teachers a present. Any ideas?
I was thinking of maybe getting some alcohol related gift but Im not sure what's appropriate?
Also - is it weird to give my co -teacher who likes English music a CD-R of music? I'm trying to avoid awkwardness and don't want it to come across as strange or over familiar |

Just break down and give her a mix-tape of the many feelings that you felt about her through the year. |

Fairly simple: what ever you end up getting them, give it just before you leave or leave for them to find with a little note of thanks. |

Pretend she was a homely ajumma.. What type of gift would you give her now?
Btw, do guys ever give presents to girls they don't find attractive? |

A box of kleenex tissue or leftover rolls of toilet paper would do. |

Yes in a way... which is why I'm in favour of doing it just as you're leaving. |

Oh, in that case follow Tanklor's advice. Best to leave the gift somewhere for her to find out after you've left. Nothing special or fancy. Nothing too sentimental in your note. Just be brief but polite. |

Oh and to answer your question, yes she will find it a little weird. Unless she has feelings for you, in which case, you really shouldn't give her a gift at all (Since you've already mentioned you don't have any feelings for her). |

I guess I wont bother than.
By the way, it wouldnt be a set of heartfelt romanstic songs, but upbeat poppy indie rock
I think leaving it somewhere for her to find is even wierder. Any other ideas? |

Well you'd leave it in a place she's bound to look. Say on her desk! Also personal CD may seem a bit odd. I'd just go with a book. |

I gave an (ex) co-teacher a big ham last Christmas when he left the school. He has a couple of teen aged boys that love ham, the co-teacher really liked the gift. It's not the usual gift you'd give a Korean.
How about a bottle of perfume? |
