| what are the best subway stops to get off at to find a lot of love motels? i tried searching for this info on the board, but of course got the white screen of death. |

There are tons of Love motels 'round Sillim station on line 2, particularly about a block north of the northwest exits. |

Just outside Seoul National University subway stop. One corner in particular, behind the big Egg Yellow building. Full of good love motels and Korean restaurants and hofs and such. The area can be crowded, but it's fairly small and not crazy like Kangnam.
It's on the same subway line as Kangnam. If you need to get to the bus terminal, you can take the subway from SNU. but you have to change lines. An easier alternative is: from Seoul University subway station, take a short taxi (~5 minutes in light traffic/green lights--longer at times, of course) or bus ride to Soongsil University subway station--from there it's about 4 stops to the terminal.
It's a good area, and of course convenient to the university, which has some great hiking areas. |
