So I have some urgent stuff at home that I need to take care of, and I need to leave for a few months. I would be terminating my contract a month or two shy of finishing it out, but a friend of mine would come and replace me. My boss has worked out a deal with a previous co-worker where he left a month early, found a replacement for himself, and was able to get his severance pay and flight home.
I am sure that I will be able to work the same deal out, but I am really wondering how it will affect my ability to get another E-2 Visa in the next few months. If everything is cool on the home front, then I would love to come back to Korea and teach. Can anyone help me with this? |

Hand in your ARC (to the officer at passport control) on the way out.
You will have no problem returning to a new job when you are ready.
