I hear from my co-teacher that GEPIK office is a bit behind in repayment of airfare and settlement.
School has only been in sesson for the last 12 working days but just getting a little antsy.
The timing of Chuseok doesn't seem to help matters although most school offices will be open Monday and Friday next week.
Does this also apply to anyone?
I'm generally satisfied and never have had anything to moan about with GEPIK and I hit a winner with my school again in my second contract. |

GEPIK = Gyeonggi EPIK
KOE or GOE = Kyungsangnam EPIK
Where are you talking about?
Airfares are usually paid in the first monthly salary due, rather than 'on arrival'. With Chosuk happening now maybe you need to be patient and wait and see
Settlement allowance should be paid first week though as you need this to pay your own medical exam |
