I have been getting to sleep around 3-4am in the week. No drinking or partying either. I finish work around 8-9pm. Craziness. I used to be such a morning person. But now I happily stay up till the wee hours pottering around.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm at a public school, and I commute for an hour and a half in the mornings. I thought that getting up at 6:30 would be hell, but I actually like it now. Bed at 10:30.

Every day consists of me going 'Ok I'll go bed early at 3 today... ok it's too late for that, but I'll round it up to 4 and make sure I get up at 10am... '

10am: 'Ok i'm awake, wide awake and energetic. I'm happy about this so I'll lie on my bed to relax and stretch for a bit... damn it's 11:30. Still have time to enjoy the sun for a bit. Oh damn it's 12:30, time to get read for work, I'll get up early tomorrow'.

My new alarm helps but only to get me up initially. The mentality of my brain is a different person when I'm only just awake. I actually made my ex cry because she'd want to do things sexy in bed first thing in the morning, and I'd be like 'Urgh, f*** off', and turn over and sleep whilst she sat sulking on the computer for about 4 hours.

I only went bed an hour earlier - 3am, when my shifts changed to 9am. That month wasn't pretty.

I wake up at seven-something since I get to my schools before nine. Those who teach at hagwons have no reason for that - some I know routinely sleep hours like 4am-noon... and why not?

M-Th I go to bed at 10pm... even though I don't work until 3pm weekdays. I enjoy mornings to do whatever I want.

I stay up until 3 or 4 a.m. during the week. I seem to get more accomplished at night after work.

I second the uni thing, but I often don't sleep at all. And I may just be a vampire because I've never liked the light...

I have to be to work by 10:30. My class starts at that time so I usually arrive 20 minutes earlier to relax and mentally prepare myself. It takes about 20 minutes to get to work. So I leave my apartment at 9:45/9:50. (It takes me 5 minutes to double check how I look, put on my shoes, and run around looking for my mp3 player.)

So to be ready for work, I need about 90 minutes. I crawl out of bed at 8:15, roughly.

My normal sleep patterns give me close to 9 hours of sleep. I am in bed by 11 typically. But I occasionally stay up until midnight and hate myself.

This post is waaaaay too long. Next time I will just describe to you the process of boiling water. Smile

I work in the afternoons and I like to be fresh when I get there, so I usually wake up around noon.

At my hagwon, 3am was about right. Woke up at about 11am or 12.

At my day teaching job, 11pm or 12 ish.

One nice thing about hagwons is that you can get lots of errands done during the day. Finishing work at 5pm when everyone else does kind of sucks. Things get way to busy.
