| I have been trying to find a hotel in Seoul for a few days over Chuseok and every place I call says they have no rooms. I may have misunderstood one person who said "no reservation" and told me to come to the hotel. (?) I didn't anticipate hotels in Seoul being full over Chuseok as I was under the impression that many people left Seoul to stay with family. Am I getting the runaround or are hotels in Seoul really that much in demand over Chuseok? Would it be a bad idea to just come to Seoul and try to find a place to stay? Any suggestions on where to look once we get there? There were several places in the Yeongdungpo area that sounded nice but are full. I might try there but I need suggestions on other areas. We are looking for something close to Itaewon. Under 100, 000 won would be good. Thanks! |

| I too noticed many of the hotels aren't available any this coming week such as on Asiarooms.com. I was wanting to stay at the Crown Hotel in Itaewon, but no possible way to book. I think it has to do with people taking off work more than it does with Seoul being sold out. I think I'm going to just walk into love motels as I've done before. There's other threads on this, but I too outta time to dig em' up right now. |

| A lot (most?) love motels won't take reservations, particularly over the phone. Just find an area with a lot of them and you won't have an issue finding a room. |
