I see this old thread is still around!! Wow!!
I guess people do have an interest in frugal living after all.
Some of my new favorites:
-always used discount cards at those chain restaurants
-buy fruit and produce from the ajoshis in the bongo trucks with the loud speakers. |

you pay by a loss of convenience and predictably, that's why real "convenience" stores can still operate with huge markup |
