|
|
Hello,
My apologies if this has been covered somewhere, but I'm wondering where to go in Suwon for my medical check. I read that immigration has designated specific hospitals, but I haven't been able to find a list.
If you moved to Suwon recently, could you please let me know and tell me what to expect? I've never had a medical check in Korea before. The last time I moved over was August 2007; while I had to get one for my public school job, I had the option of doing it at home first. So, I'm just wondering where to go, what was done, how long it took, how much it cost, etc.
Also, can someone confirm that we still have 90 days to submit the results to immigration? |

Ajou University Hospital was great, took about an hour and cost around 40k. There is one area that is set up specifically for medical checks so you don't have to go to different hospital departments. There is always at least one English speaking nurse, and the results take about a week. |

The medical check is pretty relaxed. They will take your weight, height, do a chest x-ray and take some blood, also a urine sample.
Without the waiting factored in, mine took about 5 minutes and did not involve anything horrific. |
