Hey everyone. This is part two of the "This is all Kinds of Crazy Please Help!" thread. I have decided to created a new post because this is a slightly most specific question. Also I need an answer right away, and I thought that adding this question to the bottom of my thread and then bumping it might not be as fruitful. To the question.

My manager just told me that my school isn't allowed to have me (English teacher/E2 visa.) This is because her school is a religious school. In essence it's no different than any other academy, however it is registered under a church or as a religious institution of sorts. Would anyone be able to tell me where I would be able to find out about this type of school?

Korean labor board
Some sort of business bureau
Immigration (somehwere that I missed)
Websites would be great.

If you can help please do. Also please refrain from turning this into a religion thread. I am only asking questions about religious academies because they are of specific legal interest to me. Thank you.

Provincial or city office of education.

They are the ones who license a private academy or in your case do not license it (religious organization) so they cannot hire you as an E2.

Switch your visa from E2 (teacher of a foreign language) to missionary and your problem goes away (assuming it is a legally registered church).

The other option is find a legal job

and you still have immigration issues to deal with as well that can get you deported if not taken care of ASAP.
