I can't believe I did this, but I don't think I wrote down "reason for getting fingerprinted" on my card. I can't remember doing it.

Will it get rejected? Should I just go ahead and redo the process tomorrow? I'm in Michigan and it doesn't take long to get the prints done.

Oh and I actually did attach a sheet asking for expediting, and I also said that it was for a job overseas.

OP,

They usually will not expedite your request. I sent everything I could (even writing on the envelope that I needed it by so and so date) to get it as quick as I can, to no avail. It still took about 8 weeks (not bad considering they quote 12, but they missed my deadline by 3 weeks).

If you put in your letter of request what the fingerprints were for, then I imagine there should not be a problem. The main concern I would have is if the fingerprints were legible. I am in the states (much easier for me to get it done) and I had to redo almost all my fingers more than three times (at the sheriff's office).

All in all, I would not worry too much about it. To end it on a high note, I read that if they do get sent back to you, then the next time you send them in, it will not take as long to have them respond.
