We are still looking for members to perform Handel's "Messiah" in December. The choir has already started rehearsing, and the orchestra will begin rehearsing in December.
This year will be a very special year for "Messiah", as we are bringing in one of the most famous choral conductors in the world to conduct the choir for the performance, "Weston Noble". He will be coming in December, and working with the choir for almost 2 weeks!
Rehearsals began on September 19 for the choir, however, we are still accepting people, especially men. All you need to be able to do is sing in pitch! Rehearsals are usually Sunday afternoons from 4-7 PM (with some 3-4 sectionals).
The concert is on December 18, 2010, at Chung-dong 1st Methodist Church, City Hall Station, Seoul. Complete with orchestra and professional soloists! For those that weren't in the choir, or in attendance last year, we had over 1,000 people in attendance, including the ambassadors from the USA and Denmark!
For more information, see http://www.camaratamusic.com, email me at goesslry at gmail dot com, or call 010-9806-8655.
It will be a great time! I hope you can all join! |
