| You can buy them for 10,000won at your local Family Mart. The cashiers usually don't know they exist so you have to be persistence. |

I've tried asking cashiers at the 711 and Family Mart but I dont know the Korean term for "international phone card"? |

| Use Skype, free to download, generally 2 to 7 cents a minute for calls world-wide, or free skype to skype, plus if you havea web cam, videos Waaay better than an international phone card. |

The best cards can often be found in the green booths(? are the new ones green or brown?) on the side of the road. Often if you tell them what country you're calling they will be able to show you which card offers the best deals.
Still, definitely use the computer instead if possible, Skype-out is pretty great and I use it from my ipod touch with no problem on a wireless signal, with earphones + a built-in mic. |
