| Does it matter to immigration which degree certificate is notarised/apostilled? Must it be your higher degree, or can you choose whichever you want? |

| I had my BA notarized and apostilled (for the visa) and just brought my MA with me so they could make a copy themselves and to send to GEPIK. Probably wouldn't hurt to do them both just in case. |

| You should probably do both. Rowan at ESL Planet told me I had to get both my BA and my MA notarized/verified (I'm Canadian). |

Immigration wants your Bachelors degree if you are looking at an E2.
They will ignore your Masters (or other post graduate certification).
Point in fact, they will NOT issue an E2 confirmation number if you submit an MA without the Bachelors degree.
If you are looking at a uni position, your uni may want your MA verified but it is not an immigration requirement.

Unless things have just changed recently with the new regulations I would say this is not true. A woman that works for the same university as I do does not have a BA, only an MA. Mind you she has been working for this same university 10 years now on an E-2 visa. I wonder if this will change now with the new regs and will she will be refused a new visa when she reapplies? |

Absolutely...it's also possible to do a PhD without a BA or MA. Depends on a few factors, but mostly experience. Do a search and you will see the topic has been discussed. |
