Hey there,
I'll be starting a public school position that I got through Canadian Connections soon, and they have listed that one of the taxes I will have to pay, along with income tax, is a 'resident tax' of 10%.
I've never heard of this tax before.... where did this come from?? Do all you public school teachers pay this tax as well?

| Thats 10% of your deducted income tax. Peanuts, essentially. Yeh, fairly common (varies from town to town). |
