I started at a GEPIK public school at an odd time (April 5th), and I would like to work in Seoul once my contract is completed.

My preference is to work for a public school in Seoul (you're less likely to be treated like a slave than if you worked at a hagwon, and you can potentially make lots of money doing overtime classes at the school). My degree isn't in education, but I will have two years experience and a 100 hour TEFL certificate.

What would the best approach be to land a good job in Seoul?

Thank you.

It depends what kind the school you get in and what kind of teaching situation you find yourself in. Don't expect any useful advice from your Principal or co-teacher. If you end up in a foreign language highschool then you are actually teaching. Other wise you'll spend lots of time entertaining the students. I use lots of Kareoke activities from Youtube just find out what they are into. Use lots of games from EFL Ning Baam and Fling the Teacher works well. Also try to get into the Multi Media room and have the smaller classes of streamlined students when I get the smaller classes of High level students I use the Material from Andrew Finch '" Tell Me more. With Middle school students. I downloaded the Powerpoints from EFL Ning from Side by Side. I use a mixture od the Audio Lingual and Communicative approach
