Anyone selling in or near Daegu?
It seems impossible to find one. Not looking to spend more than 600,000 won.
Let me know if you are. Thanks! |

Be aware that according to Korean law you need to obtain a driver's license for scooters. |

a few quick things about it upfront fyi:
-1 yr old
-seat cushion has some tears
-lefthand sidemirror had gotten broken off by someone but i still have it if you know how to fix that stuff
-a little rust but not bad
-speedometer runs higher than actual speed, so it tops out at "100-110kph" but that translates to about 80 i think. bike shop i got it from said that it would take a lot of gutting out to fix this but unfortunately i didn't know it til i had had it a while.
-gauge lights are dim or out. i don't remember which.
-hard start in the winter, need to run it every few days-a week so that the battery is optimal.
-headlight has small dent on top but there are no complications.
it comes with:
-2 helmets, one with demi faceshield
-bike cover
-alarm system
any questions let me know, PM me your number if interested and i can contact you. :) |

An international driver's license is not sufficient. You need to have a scooter endorsement on your license. It requires a written test, in Korean, and an actual driving test on an obstacle course of sorts. |

honestly i didn't read up on the license stuff but i just went in and exchanged mine for a korean one after an eye exam. my friend got his license after a short written test i think and he's not an f4. and i had been told that with scooters it's different unless you get over 125cc, but that the ones we were given were ok for that.
again, i didn't look any of this up but i've been driving with mine for a year and a half and have NEVER had a problem. |

A 50cc scooter does not require a license or plates. A 125cc does.
How did you plate your scooter without a license?
I assume you must be a hagwon teacher. As a public school teacher, a government employee I was told driving illegally would be call for dismissal, since it reflects poorly on the school. |
