| Some people love Incheon and others seem to dislike it. I visit my son there pretty often and I love the place .. but, I guess it really is more about the the people you meet and the friendships you form. There is a great bunch of expats around Inha Uni. |

| Ive been here about a month. If you are near a subway line, it is nice. I live near the end of the subway line and can get on train and be at yongsan station which is in the center of seoul in under an hour if I get lucky with the trains. At bupyeong, where line 1 and the airport line intersect there are a ton of bars and restaurants. |

The airport line doesn't go to Bupyeong. That's the Incheon line. |

It's OK. I've been here over a month now.
I was born in Seoul, and most of my family still lives there, so I got used to Seoul. And I'm a city girl in general so... it depends on the person. |

1/ No Costco
2/ No Microbreweries
3/ No Mexican Restaurants
4/ No Hongdae Style Clubs
5/ No Chinese Food in the Famous "Chinatown"

1. Homeplus has loads of foreign items.
2. So?
3. There was one for a while, but Mexican is one of the easiest cuisines to cook. One can get the ingredients at the above mentioned homeplus.
4. It's a 40-minute train ride to Seoul. Let's round it up to an hour to get to Hongdae. That's hardly a commute.
5. Go to Itaewon for decent Chinese. An hour to get there, tops.
6. Bigger apartments for less.
7. Not as crowded, but by no means a small town.
8. You're from NYC. Incheon is like Brooklyn. It has its nice areas, you get more bang for your buck apartment-wise, and there's a tolerable-length commute for when you need to go to Seoul. |
