Any Aussies out there?
or Canadians , Brits who are curious how life was down under after the war.
Life might have been similar were you guys are from. eitherwayif you are Curious then this Documentary will give you a prospective of how children were raised and how life was down under.
I was born in the 70's so I was going to school on the tail end of it all, but the teachers and middle age people in the society at the time were from the past war era so there were still some principles passing around.
life should was different in those days.

A MUST Watch for All Australians and for others who are interested in post war life down under.

about showing life how the early Australian immigrants settled in Oz.
it's probably very similar to life in Canada or New Zealand too.

Aus was cool in th early 90's then it took a turn for the worse and became like little america, with people becoming greedy and materialistic ( Sydney is the worst) If you have a nice gf even your best mate may try to get her and everyone thinks that's fine.

Its dog eat dog and if you do better than the aussies in their own country watch out the tall poppy police will come cut you down to size.

Sorry to sound so negative but every country has its positive and negative traits and a competative spirit prevails in Aus and the negatives are growing. I remember I bought a new car and within 2 months 5 people at work followed suit, kind of like that new movie The Jones's.

Aus lacks identity and has taken on Americas bad traits. People in melbourne and Sydney sue each other now a lot just like the states.

I didn't know that greediness, materialism, and girlfriend-theft were all traits unique to my countrymen. Thanks for that interesting fact! I guess you learn something new everyday.

Invariably, in any thread that has to do with ANY country, about ANY subject, someone's gotta rag on the States.

Thanks people of the world! You're so much better than us in every way!

I'm sure my post is going to get a, "You're welcome! We know!"
