Are position posted for November/December for publis schools legit? Or bait and switch?

There is nothing to assume they are good or bad. It's a luck of the draw and how well you get along, like being stranded on an island with a bunch of strangers.

Look at their contract, as this will spell out the terms they are used to. If you don't like them, find another school. If you find they all want the same things, then chances are you will have to compromise.

many of those positions are being filled for jobs where the teacher did a runner??? teachers pull a midnight run for many reasons.
