Just wondering how many people will be working on election day next week. My school told us that we have to work because all of the other schools on our street are open on election day.

I work at an adult hogwon, so no. But we always work only 20 days per month, so we usually get a weekday or two off each month anyway.

it's illegal to work on the 15th since all our contracts should say all national holidays are off. If my school tells me im working im telling them to *beep* off quiting, punching the owner in the head a few times and going back to canada. There's no reason any of us should have to work on that day.

It was declared a national holiday by the government. The guy who has to work becasue the other schools are open on his street? that's the dumbest version of korean logic i've ever heard

Just found out our hagwon will be open. It's an easy day anyway so I'm not overly bitter.

That sounds suspiciously like a Wonderland.
