Does anyone know how long it takes for an E-2 Visa to be processed in the US?
I am planning to go to Korea in January and the gentleman at the Korean Embassy in DC told me it takes 2-3 months to process the Visa after all the forms are submitted!
Has anyone recently completed an E-2 Visa from the states? How long did the process take?

Hi - it usually takes about 5 to 10 business days.

Thanks!
I know that getting an FBI background check can take a few months, so I am starting the process now.
Are you with footprints? I am taking a TEFL course in Egypt in November and they recommended footprints.

Hey I just posted some info about the FBI check that you might want to see.

And yes - I work for Footprints. Glad to hear you've heard good things!

Thanks the post about the FBI requirements really helped. Also the footprints site is extremely informative.
I am actually just starting to look at jobs now. My degree will be completed in December and I will have the confirmation by January. Would it be too early to start looking now (filling out the footprint's application).
Does footprints have openings for both public and private schools?

Hi there,

I think there might be an issue if I start using Dave's as a forum to blatantly sell our services. I just try to guide people or provide accurate information (as I am aware of it) to help out. If you'd like to work with us, or any other recruiter for that matter, it would be best to contact them through their business contact information.

No worries! The mods would just delete the message, it isn't like I would get in trouble Smile
