How many are they looking to hire for the fall semester, and have they almost reached their goal for intake by now? Seems to be a slowdown in posts recently for GEPIK via recruiters.

I dont now, but of the 15 GEPIK teachers that I personally know who signed in the fall, only about 4 are leaving, the rest are renewing, if that says anything.

(Of course there were another 5 or 6 not included in that number who pulled runners within the first 6 months)

I applied to GEPIK through a recruiter. My recruiter is sending applications to schools now. Hopefully I get in.

GEPIK don't hire directly anymore...I believe that schools hire directly through recruiters now...so it's probably more difficult to get an overall number.

GEPIK is more worried about teacher training. The more time you have with GEPIK the more they think you need to learn about kimchi and co-teaching from coordinators who have never had to deal with co-teaching for even one day. Wait until it's your turn to go to GEPIK training. You'll understand what I'm saying.

What sojusucks said.
One more inanely useless teaching seminar and you'll find me in a bell tower somewhere.

Is there any one recruiter that does the bulk of their recruiting?

I think Korvia does the bulk of it.

Yes, GEPIK seems less interested in dealing directly with foreign teachers, but they are very eager to "train us." Seems a little counter-intuitive doesn't it.
