Will pretty much any police station do the fingerprints for our FBI check? Or only the big stations? My Korean coworker called a nearby police station today and he said the lady knew nothing about FBI and fingerprints, and this is a big station in Incheon. I really don't want to go all the way to Seoul fro fingerprints. I know the big station at exit 5 Seocho station will do them, AFTER they looked at me like I was crazy in 2007. Also, my coworkers are not taking heed to these knew regs and a couple of them said not to bother until the school tells us...that's what people at my last school thought and there they were...2 months left on their visa before the school told them...they would not believe me...oh well. And one teacher went so far as to ask me why I asked my Korean teacher for help on this, because maybe he will think I am a criminal now...yeah right... Crying or Very sad

Yeah, let's get a list of some police stations that are helping NSETs get the fingerprinting done....

Are there any places that offer fingerprinting on Saturdays? I need a place that has a fingerprint technician because I have faint fingerprints.

I wonder what Korean Immigration standards are. If you have anything on your record, are you automatically not eligible to work in Korea? Or are they just looking for specific crimes?

Suwon does, but I'm not too impressed by the quality of the prints.

I'm pretty sure that main police stations will take prints. It's just the quality that's a question. I've had fingerprints taken three times so far. Once by INTERPOL and twice by the Suwon station. Suwon simply can't hold a candle to INTERPOL

Any big police station should do it. Go to a gu station or city station if there aren't gu in your city. I wouldn't go to the little rinky-dink dong police station.
