KEB bank looks interesting for an expat but it's yet another bank that requires all these stupid installations to use their online services.

I use a mac, and even with windows I'd refuse to use Internet Explorer.

1)People still use Internet explorer???????

2) What banks if any don't require you to install browser plugins?

Tanks again guys.

KEB has both a Mac application and an iPhone application that work great. I know of no other bank that has a dedicated Mac app.

Oh, I should mention that "work great" is relative compared to using IE6 in a virtual machine. The Mac app is Java and a bit clunky but it does work. You can send money, export to Excel, etc. It's just got a typical Korean (meaning custom, not Mac-like) interface.

If you want to send money, you need to generate a certificate file first. The paperwork needs to be done at an actual bank. It's a one-time thing and I've used the same cert for the past two years. No banks (that I know of) let you send money without this digital certificate being generated first.

Not but it's pretty straight forward. The set-up is a little sticky, but if you use your dictionary you can probably get through it or ask a co-teacher if you get jammed up. After that just translate a couple button names and you're good.
