I just picked up my E-2 visa today and was wondering about it only being for single entry, I asked them in the embassy should it not be multiple entry and they said once you are there you can apply for a multiple entry visa, anyone know if this is true? Is everyone's visa like this? |

On the application you filled out for the e-2, you should of had one of 2 choices, single entry or multiple entry. I had friends who didn't see it either, so they went to immigration to get it changed to multiple. You will probably have to fill out a change in visa status request form and pay a little more money for the multiple visa. Very easy. |

Go to immigration. You can change your single entry to a multiple entry for a fee of 30,000 Won. It only takes about 10 minutes. |

Unless you are American the only option is a single entry visa.
After you get here and get your ARC you can get a re-entry permit (single use or multiple use).
Your best option is to apply for the multi-entry permit when you apply for your ARC (save you a trip to the immigration office later).

What are you talking about? He is spot on. The OP accidently applied for a single entry permit when getting his visa the first time around, so now he has to correct it. |

So that would make you American?
as in the exception that was noted in the first sentence "Unless you are American"....?
Note that the OP did NOT state what nationality he was.
