I'm starting SMOE in a few weeks. I have travelled overland to Korea and therefore have no flight ticket.
How does arrival money get reimbursed? Will this be a problem?
Thanks! |

It depends on which version of the contract you signed.
Most of them required the receipt for reimbursement of the flight to Korea. Many if not all schools will ask for it.
Some of the newer contracts (since NIIED assumed recruitment for SMOE) allow for an "entry allowance" in lieu of the flight then a settlement allowance.
Does beg the question however, how are you traveling overland to a country that is a peninsula, has a sea on 3 sides and a 4km wide mine field on the forth unless you are related to Kim Jong-Il?

How do all things get reimbursed? Show them proof. A receipt.

I printed out a purchase receipt and saved my flight ticket stubs, in order to document and prove my expense and travel, if needed.
However, I was given the full flight reimbursement funds without ever submitting the receipt nor flight stubs for proof. |
