Let's be clear: It's not about returning to corporal punishment, unless one has a slippery slope argument.

Sounds like common sense to me.

I don't see what this has to do with the need to intervene in a fight or to escort a belligerent child out of a class. It also sounds like Pollyanna has never been in a classroom.

Same line the hagwon bosses use when telling the NET they can't impose any degree of discipline in the classroon.
