|
|
I downloaded several foriegn language movies. The torrents site said they had Eng subs.
The subs do not show when I play the movie.
When I open the movie folder the subs are in an srt file.
My question is - how do I play the movie with the subs showing?
Is is possible or is it supposed that we print them off and watch the movie whilst reading the subs? That would not be worth it for me...!
Thanks

Are you watching the movie on your computer? If so, make sure the subtitle file has the same name as the video file, and it should play automatically. You often have to do a quick edit of the file name. |

Seems it's a problem with media player for whatever reason.
I tried your suggestion and no joy.
I then tried the foriegn lang movies in VLC player and even the ones where I didn't edit the names, they play the subs with the movie fine.
Just not in Media Payer....
So I'll just watch those movies with VLC player instead (though I prefer the layout etc of mp.) |

I like GOM Player best. I could never get Korean subtitles to display correctly in VLC. |

Use gom player, name the file the same as the movie file without changing the extension and it will automatically load. Otherwise you can click and drag the subtitle file into gom player to load it. |
