Hi all.
I'm looking to upgrade from my teeny bullet blender to a hand blender or food processor.
Let me know if you're selling yours. I've learned a lot of nifty new recipes, and my bullet just can't handle them, unless I'm willing to do small batches at a time, which is a PAIN. |

I have an extra hand blender, but it's a really basic one (no food processor attachment). It works really well for dips like hummus or to make refried beans from regular cooked or canned beans. It didn't work for whipped cream, since it doesn't have the whisk-type attachment either.
I bought it at E-mart a little over a year ago, but stopped using it when my sister gave me a fancier one when she was leaving Korea. I think it was on sale for 20,000 or 25,000 at that time. (They don't have this model anymore.)
I'm pretty sure it's this model:

I also have a "beaker" (graduated measuring cup), but it's not the one that came with it and it's a little scratched up (I usually just mix things in a bowl or pan anyway).
I kept the original box, for some reason, with the Korean owner's manual and so on. So, I could ship it to you easily!
If you want to buy it from me, send me an email (rebelong (at) gmail). I don't think I can PM here yet. I'd let it go for 10,000 including shipping. |

I got my immersion blender, with whisk and food processor attachments, at Home Plus for like 25k a year ago. That'd be a good bet. |

Really? I saw some for about 80-100k, and, as I'm not sure if I'll be here for more than the rest of the year, I didn't want to spend the money on something I wouldn't use outside of Korea. I have a really nice hand mixer as well as a food processor back home.
If the email guy doesn't work out, I'll check out some new ones tomorrow. |

Thanks, but I'm looking for the other type. I'd like to be able to blend directly in my pots, pans, and mixinb bowls (saves doing some dishes!) |

Are you still looking for a hand blender? I have one that I bought new this spring. I thought I would use it a lot to make salsa and smoothies, but I only used it about 3 or 4 times, at the most. It's still in the box with everything else that came with it.
It has the immersion blender, a measuring cup with lid, and a small (about 1-2 cup volume) chopper. It's basically the same as the picture in the website link you posted, but the box says 300W and I think the button might be light blue instead of yellow.
Anyway, I'd like to sell it for around 30,000. I paid at least 65,000 for it and it is basically brand new, so I think that's a fair price. If you're interested, let me know. 446437 at gmail or you can pm me. |
