To start it off....
1. Sundae.
2. Access to Gwanak san.
2. Being on line 2.
3. Boramae Park.
4. Some decent uni bars.
5. Lotte Mart.
6. English- speaking SNU students working in surrounding shops.
7. Corriander/cilantro available from Chinese stores. |

I guess I can agree to the second 2 and 3. Haven't really noticed a difference in 4 or 6 compared to anywhere else. The rest well... meh, don't care. |

| Also, Kim Yuna lives there. That has to count for something. |

Yeah I agree about Boramae park. It has a really nice atmosphere in the evening - great place for a beer. Gotta try that climbing wall too.
Where are these chinese stores then? Around Sillim station? I'm in Sadang but haven't found any coriander yet. Quite fancy making some chinese and indian food though ... |

Shillim sucks. Run down and overpriced housing. Not many good places to eat.
The only good thing is the best 돈까스 place in the world is located in Shillim 9 dong. Awesome 돈까스 |

At Bongcheon Station, go out exit 1 or 2and head into the lanes that run parallel to the main road. There are a few Chinese stores and you can grab a bunch for 2,000. Also some of the better sundae is available on the streets round there, IMHO. |
