I have a VPN for back in the states so I can rent netflix, but I want to run it through my PS3 and the easiest way is to do that through my router. I don't know if my Korean router supports it because I am not an expert and I can't read Korean. Google Chrome translates the internal settings pretty well, but I have never done this before. Has anyone?

Ok, I think I figure it out and the only way to connect directly to VPN through a router is if it accepts dd-wrt. Anyone know of a korean brand and model that do? Is there a router place in Yongsan or somewhere that might know?

plenty of routers can support vpns, not just dd-wrt based ones. without knowing your specific model or anything else though, no one can tell you.

I have 2 routers set up in my apartment: a DIR-855 with a standard Korean ISP, and a Cloakbox with a California IP adress. I can connect to one for fast downloading and the other to watch content blocked outside the U.S (Hulu, Pandora, network sites, etc.) not usre if this is what you meant. http://www.witopia.net/index.php/products/

I have a anygate xm3001n. I can't really tell if it is capable because I don't understand Korean that well. My VPN company told me I need a router that has dd-wrt or I have to bypass my connection through my laptop to the PS3, but my laptop only has ethernet port, so figuring out the router is a lot easier than getting another installed.

That router looks great, but it says they only ship to US addresses. That means quite the wait time. There must be something comparable here.
