One of the top attractions in Tokyo is the famous Shibuya pedestrian crossing. Is there a comparable pedestrian crossing in Seoul (need to know because I want to take some photos to send to folks back home)? I was there Monday afternoon and Myeong Dong looked pretty busy. |

I lived in Japan for five years and I don't ever recall seeing anyone jaywalk in Tokyo. I've lived in Korea for over five years and jaywalking is practically a national sport here. I don't see how you'd find a crowded crossing here. |

What I meant with Shibuya crossing is that for about three minutes, vehicles must stop in all directions and pedestrians can cross in any direction, including diagonally. Is there something like that in Seoul? |

There's an 3/4 way intersection in Sinchon down the road from Yonsei...nowhere near the size of the one in Shibuya, but it gets just as crowded, pound for pound. |

One near Guro digital complex station Ln 2 is always busy. At peak times, it looks like a soccer game has just let out. A famous (kinda) one is University Street in Heywha which is the largest crosswalk in Korea or so I've been told. |

generally they avoid that by having subway stations at all the major intersections and forcing people to walk through the subway station to cross the street.
it might be more interesting to film the people getting off line 2 at hongik university station on a friday or saturday night. that subway station gets absolutely jammed, it's insane |

Tokyo yeah...but have you been to Osaka? I saw it quite often in that city. They're quite well known for jaywalking there |
