Something I've been working on.
I'm always curious as to what people think of modern classical music. Some say, in this form, it's simply uncomfortable. I personally find it beautiful and I could spend hours discussing it.
I wonder what people think of this style, and how long you think it took me to create it. 5 minute keyboard bashing or weeks of educated construction? |

Uh, it's... interesting. This music is more for the people that make and play it than the audience.
The MIDI sounds could be better.
It honestly does sound like you bashed the keyboard for 5 minutes since it's not in a discernible key or tempo, something that even modern classical has.
What's the theme? Most classical was built upon a theme (Christ, Kings, seasons, Myths & Fables)
The best part is the low Tuba (?) hit but it needs some mid range arpeggio instruments (violins, cellos) and a consistent beat, most of all.
It could be good if it had a little more structure and was allowed to be a little more creative with the sounds and not just intending to be jarring on the ears, much like Korean children. |
