I'll keep things to the point:

1) The man in my bed snores. LOUDLY.
2) It has caused arguments and injuries (elbowing and kicking him in an attempt to stop the snoring).
3) Sleep with earplugs. Fail.
4) Had one like this a few years ago but simply got up and went home when the snoring began. This one is for keeps though so I can't go anywhere. Laughing

Any advice (especially the type that will make me laugh) is welcome!

I think those Breathe Right nose strips are supposed to help with snoring. Might be worth a try.

Try conditioning him. Rig up a device that gives off a mild electric shock. When he snores, zap him with it. Maybe he will unconciously adapt to it and be too afraid to snore. Smile

Do you know where I can purchase one of these devices? Perhaps when Guantanamo finally shuts down, I can get a whole bunch at a discounted price just in case one isn't enough. Twisted Evil

Sometimes a change in sleeping position is all that is required.

I second those strips. My dad uses them and they seem to help at least soften the sound.

Is his nose aesthetically pleasing? No? perfect!

Buy him a nose job. Get the doctor to open those passages up while he's in there. And no one can call you superficial! It was for medical reasons...

No, they have glue on the inside and pull the nose open a little so more air can get in. My dad swears by them (his gf doesn't hit him to wake him up anymore).

Alcohol definitely affects it. My ex-wife could tell if I had even one beer in the middle of the afternoon just by how I snored at night.

It helps on occasion, but the past two nights have been particularly bad and he snores in EVERY position...

Twisted Evil He has always had issues with his nose the poor thing, but there's really nothing wrong with it. He smokes excessively and I assume that's the reason for my insomnia.
