Does anyone know if you can make returns Homeplus? I bought an external hard drive for my computer and it does not work properly and I want to return it.
I have the box and receipt. But the box got ripped when I opened it. |

IF it is within a day or 3, then yes.
If it was longer than that they usually send to the A/S center for the device.
If it does NOT have a local A/S center then they MAY send it away for you and it will take a few days for the replacement to come back.

I had to do so once with a printer that was advertised as Mac compatible but really wasn't. They put up a bit of a difficult time, and tried to say that they couldn't take it back because it had been opened. Luckily, the language barrier between us was so strong that they just gave up trying to explain and accepted the return. |

As simonandmartina said, play the language card. We bought a stove that was LPG and we needed it to be for natural gas. It took about an hour to convince them to take it back. We even purchased it on the same day. They then wanted to give us a store credit. However, they ended up giving us cash back as they didn't have the correct stoves in stock.
Good luck. |

"The customer is king" is an ironic statement, even when, or especially when, used by Koreans. |

Take it from me. Without getting into lots of details, I can assure you that, based on 20 years experience with them, Costco has the best return policy anywhere, bar none.
Enough said. |
