I was assaulted 2 months ago in west Seoul. I do not want to give more details as I am currently awaiting monetary compensation from my attacker. I was told I should wait about 1 month for my attacker to offer me compensation however nothing has happened. I contacted my local police station and they said that they transferred my case to another police station. I contacted the police again today but it seems they may have lost my case............... What are my options? Should I contact a lawyer? My attacker confessed in the police station in front of 7-8 officers to attacking me. I dont know why this is taking so long. There were around 6-8 witnesses at the scene of the crime and they all concur I was the victim. Please advise me.
