I'm planning to head down to Busan for the film festival this weekend and the only way I can do it is with an early morning arrival (4 am). Does anyone know if there are any jimjilbang near Busan Station (or a short taxi ride away)?

Plenty of cheap motels on Texas Street (across the street just go straight). They will let you sleep in as much as you want to. Probably because they thought you left 30 minutes after you got the room Laughing But just be aware of the horrible things that probably occured on the matress and they aren't the most clean places one could sleep in. There is a jimjilbang on Texas, but its Korean only, oddly enough. Just get a love motel for 20-40$.

Not sure hwo far away Haeundae area is from the station, but there is a decent ZZB called "Vesta" near there... however, you're better off just going to a love motel. Motel Ice is 35,000 for the night I think, and it's decently clean if you're just passing through.

It's the complete other side of town, IF you're going to Busan Station. 4 am arrival, you taking a Mughungwha or Saemaeul? Some of them make stops at the other stations in the city, but I don't know what time.

Hm, maybe getting off at another station is an option? It's the Mughungwha train that stops at Miryang (not Busan) and Gupo. I don't know about the whole love motel situation, since it'll be just me and that area is a bit dodgy, if I remember correctly. Also, Busan station is a bit far from Haeundae...

Does anyone know if there's a night bus that runs 24 hours?

Gupo is in the sticks. Where are you heading? There are 24 hour buses. I have lived on Texas a few times between jobs, just don't bother anyone and they won't bother you. Texas is no more dangerous than the outside of any bar in North America at 2am. If anyone asks you if you are interested in their wares, say no. I have stayed at the one above manila. Not too bad for the price. Or really you could just go get a few beers, wait til 5:30 when the busses start up again. 1001 goes to Haeundae. Or just suck up the 10,000 taxi to where ever. Busan Station has probably the cheapest rooms in Busan though.

the jalgatchi/piff square area is a 2 minute taxi ride from Busan station. There are a lot of cheap love motels around the back streets there (nearer the road). - not sure of the condition though.
(why dont you just go to a dvd bang and order/watch the godfather with the volume turned down? itll last until the subways start running?).

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I should be able to find something between love motels, DVD bangs, and bars in the station area or Jalgatchi.
