Im thinking of heading to the PIFF tomorrow morning from Seoul.
For anyone who's been, what is the scene like there? Are the other film goers social and open to talking? Or is it pretentious?
Also, how hard is it to get tickets? |

I'm heading to my first move tonight
This year, they only held back 20% of tickets. The rest have already been purchased online. You can try to get a ticket on the morning of, but I read on the PIFF website that the booths open at 8:30.
I've never gone in the morning myself to try and get tickets, but have heard the line are MADNESS!! |

too many people, artsy peopl trying to look artsy, meh
still ill go to haeundae today, alot of events and stuff to see...

| I've been here since the first screening. So far, the festival's been great. I'm leaving today, though, so I won't be able to enjoy much more of it, but I definitely wish that I could. |

| Where would you recommend to line up for same-day tickets in the morning? Thinking about joining a queue tomorrow. |

Posted this in another thread a while back...
I do have some suggestions:
Try to arrive as early as you can at the temporary box office to book the tickets for the same day and preferably at a less crowded location. They open at 8:30. (See below for locations.) However, there are other ways to get tickets.
There are big whiteboards at the temporary box offices where people will post tickets that they are getting rid of for any reason (i.e. extra tickets, can't make it). It's a good idea to check these boards throughout the day, before and after seeing a film to see what's available. This is the first year that the festival workers (volunteers really) won't be locking the doors at the start of the movies, so this takes pressure of arriving right on time.
Another suggestion, the outdoor films are pretty easy to get on the day of as the seating capacity is about 5000. Depending on the weather and the night's selection, this can be a good option.
As to the locations of temporary box offices--

Again, good luck in obtaining tickets and enjoy the festival. |
