The writers of "Dexter" need to attend a script writing class taught by Vince Gilligan.
Dexter's series finale was atrocious , in comparison. |

Just an aside about the final episode...
Marty Robbins sings "El Paso" in the background...They choose the few lyrics from the song we actually get to hear. The song is about a cowboy that kills another man, runs away and returns at great risk to see his love one more time before he dies.
the lyrics we get to hear go:
I saddled up and away I did go,
Riding alone in the dark.
Maybe tomorrow
A bullet may find me.
Tonight nothing's worse than this
Pain in my heart.
I just thought the song fit the script so well. |

That scene with Stephen Colbert kidnapping Vince Gilligan and forcing him to write more Breaking Bad episodes was hilarious.

Yes, it did.
And good observation.
That was good TV. |

The one person they interviewed on the street: "nope, never heard of it."
Local news kills me. |

Is anyone else wondering where Jesse is? Did he get arrested? Is he free? I was disappointed by the finale in that they didn't really finish his story. |
He paid his due being a slave for Todd for, I'm thinking, a good year or maybe less based off how much hair he had on his head. WW saved him one last time and that was it I'm thinking. They leave it to your imagination, not everything has to be spelled out for you, that's what makes good TV. |

Considering the whole show covered just about a year, I am pretty sure Jesse was a slave a lot less than one year...
But yes, I think it was an appropriate "ending" for Jesse. |
