Has anyone had to undergo a medical examination for their job? What kind of tests should I expect? I'm working for a large corporation which requires all employees to undergo the exam......I'm not too excited about it.

Do they take out a life insurance policy on you?

Or do they invest a lot of money into training you?

It could just be for the company's protection.

Are you a fat slob with medical problems? I doubt it, so what is the worry?

(Also they could be doing this to test for drug use...hope u dont do weed.)

I had to get a medical exam for my work. Quick & easy. Height & weight, blood pressure, blood test, chest xray, questions about medical history. Your Korean colleagues probably undergo the same thing -- ie theyre not looking for waygook 'pastimes,' but rather for the ravages of liquor & tobacco (liver & lungs).

In fact I have to get the form done again next week. Last time I went for an annual update the doc told me to fill in my own measurements then he wrote 'ok' in all the boxes without even looking at me.

If you used drugs in the past, and you take a test that shows positive, you are in BIG TROUBLE. Definately out of a job, but probably jail as well, i'd guess.
