| Does it make a difference who cancels your visa, you or your employer? . . . I heard u can get blacklisted if your emplyer does it if u don't? ? |

Go with them to Immigration and take along a Korean friend, if you can. Whenever there's government paperwork involving you make sure you are present when it is handled. |

If your employer does it (and you haven't reported to Kimmi) then you have 14 days to be out of Korea or be in an overstay position. (30 days if you do the report of change of status).
If you are just leaving, then hand in your ARC on the way out and no worries.

| I'm not sure if the blacklist even exists anymore. I left my last employer in a cloud of loud cusses and though she called my new boss to vent, I still got another visa just fine. |

Unless you are labeled "persona non grata" by immigration (separate issue) then "blacklists" are illegal under the labor standards act (even though several of the hagwan associations do keep one).
Quitting a hagwan job is NOTHING that immigration will fret over as long as you cancel your visa and begin the process all over again from scratch.
