i vote real. i was a film student in college, and film students (particularly documentary students) film everything, no matter how mundane or uninteresting. yeah, there are a lot stupid films about nothing being produced right now, but also you never know what might turn into something. i've seen a couple interviews with the film makers and they all seemed really genuine. in one interview they said that they didn't take it seriously at first and were just filming because they thought it was funny, only becoming more dedicated when they realized what was going on.

that being said, i have not seen it yet, although i am dieing to. no theaters picked it up where i am living, so i guess i'll have to wait for the dvd. lame.

imdb says the release date is December 2nd.

Well for the time being, I would guess you have to not be in Korea to watch it.

Honestly though, it's hardly worth looking forward to.

It's based on a real story (just saw it on one of the crime show channels) called "Tallhotblonde" where the person putting up a fake life/profile on the internet turns out to be a 45 year old woman (fat and ugly) raising two disabled kids, bored with her poop life and wants a diversion. Oldest story on the internet.

It's real in the same way Cannibal Holocaust, Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch were real, meaning not at all.

The premise is believable but that's it.
