That's is probably something they wont have here. If you find one though, post it up. You could to try and call 1330 and ask them.

If all else fails, do a salt water flush. The most god awful thing you'll ever taste, but gives your insides a good scrubbin'. I usually get around to one or two of those a month.

Salt water flush

mix 2-3 teaspoons of SEA SALT (NOT normal table salt, it will not work... i get antarctic sea salt at home plus).... 2 or 3 teaspoons of SEA SALT in one quart of water. Warning: it's going to be the most awful thing u've ever tasted. Just thinking about it now makes me gag. It's terrible, no way around it.

Make sure the water is room temp or lightl heated. Cold just makes an awful situation that much worse. Down your sea salt water. Try to get as much of it as possible. I say as much as possible, because you probably wont finish it all, it's that bad. It's best to do it first thing in the morning, when your stomach is empty. And on the weekend when you're not going to be going anywhere for a few hours.

Once you get it down, just wait. About 10 min - 1 hour later, it will star. And when it does, oh man, be ready. Exploding, liquid poo by the gallon is going to come pouring out of you. Every 5 mins after it starts it's going to happen, so DON'T FART. I get a book or my notebook and just sit on the pot for an hour, occassional flushes needed. About an hour after it starts, it will begin to end. You'll be able to tell just by looking. By the end, it should all almost be clear. Maybe a little yellow from the bile. Once you haven't had a poor for 15 min or so, it's mostly over. You may still have an elimination later, but not as bad as that first hour.

There are tons of recipes and such online, just google it. It really does make me feel better once it's over and I've had a nice hot shower, cause you're going to need it, trust me. I feel lighter, more energetic, calmer. If it's really getting the "toxins" out of your body I'm not sure. A lot of that homeopathic medicine is just a bunch of whooy, but clearing out your colon from a few days of trash does make you feel better. Sometimes if I'm feeling adventerous and have nothing to do all weekend, I'll do one on Sat morning, eat raw veg all day, then do it again on Sunday morning and eat raw veg all that day. By the time Monday rolls around, I'm a brand new man.

Best of luck

Thomas! Please find out! I would love more information. If they do it at hospitals, they must call it something different....

Ein- Thanks for the very graphic description! I know it will taste terrible. I can't even gargle with salt water without gagging, but I'll try it. I used to get regular colonics in the states, they are so good for your body. I feel sort of sluggish here and I know cleaning out my colon will help.

I got these slippers that work the same as a colonic.

Wear them for half a day. They are painful.
Then your lower half starts to loosen up. Take a nap/sleep.

Around twelve hours later, you will have a good push. And by good I mean lots will be released.

Found 'em in Insadong, but you can find them online too.
Do an image search for "Korean wood massage slippers"
Make sure they look like this:

Colonics don't do anything beneficial. If the hospitals here do them, then I've lost a lot of trust.

I was asking this very same question several months ago, and the answer I ran into is that they don't do them here because they don't believe in them. I went to Thailand to do my fasting/detox.

If anyone hears of it, I also would like to know, and yes I eat raw, but am still at about 30 to 50%, but working on it.

I think Ein's idea sounds like it is worth a try, and I will look into those slippers. Another thing that I heard of is Bael Tea. I don't know if they sell them here or what the equivalent is, but this tea will also clean out your system, even removing plaque. I am about to do a mini-fast of 3 days, with a few days of eating completely raw before and after. During the fast, I will drink Bael tea and try Ein's method, and hope there is a similar effect as a colonic. Also, during a time of cleansing, it is also really great to go to a jjimjilbang or sauna to sweat out the rest of the toxins from your muscles.

Glad to see there are other people into detox here.

People that detox and fast forget about the fat or at least don't pay it as much attention.

So much is stored in fat. Toxins left over from the food you eat, to stuff you drink, the pills you take, the chemicals you come in contact with everyday.. it all gets stored in fat.

There was a study a few years ago that tested the rate at which a selection of illegal and legal drugs left a persons system. Across the bored, everything from the over the counter stuff, to Rx meds, to illegal drugs left the system (were found to have diminished more quickly when tested using urine, hair, and blood) in the people that were more fit and have body fat percentages in the "healthy" or "athletic" profiles. Overweight people carried the chemicals longer nearly 2 or 3 times longer.

The point in saying all that was, it's great to detox. Fasting occasionally shrinks the stomach and enemas, colonics, and salt water flushes move out old waste. But all this can be futile if one still maintains a high or higher than advised percentage of body fat. The effects of a detox will be temporary at best, because the fat still remains and with it, all the chemicals that were used to build it remain.

One simply can not detox to improve their overall health (I'm not saying that is you calicoe, just since you brought it up I though I'd share the info.) It has to be a full commitment to better health and living. Eating raw even a portion of the time, combined with detoxing, and lots and lots of exercise are the keys to living a healthier and happier life.

It's not just an eating change. It's a lifestyle change.
