I'd love to buy a korean xbox 360 power supply for my xbox 360 that just came in the mail today. Had it shipped from home and don't want to have to get another US power brick (the one I had before doesn't work) and a step-down converter. If anyone has one I'd love to make an offer

I wouldn't risk changing power supplies. That could cause problems. Just buy a power converter. It is a box the size of a small fan that converts both the voltage and the frequency (I believe). Also, called a transformer, I think.

They are more expensive than you think. My power brick died and so I had to get a new one at Yongsan Market....I found one for 40,000 won in video game alley (the third shop in, I think)....but most stalls were asking 50,000.

Thanks for the input. I was using a smaller converter which I thought would work until I found a larger one. Unfortunately, I must have misread some posts that I came across and sure enough my American power supply shorted out when I tried to use it. I assumed that I could find a Korean power supply for the price of an American one plus a step-down converter. If I don't have any luck on here I'll head to Yongsan and hope I can find what I'm looking for there.
