What would be in your ideal care package from home?

Personally, I'd love some cajeta, almond butter.....and a lemon tree!

My friend sends aged cheese (she's Korean so it gets through) and Advil.

When the husband's in London, he brings back Marmite, Twiglets, Boots vitamin fizzies, tea, and licorice.

My parents send green tea extract, Brazil nuts, and edible goji berries (the ones here aren't good for snacking--only tea).

I send back black pearls, interesting teas, Japanese thermoses, and random Engrish T-shirts.

I always have my family send over mix packets for different foods - taco seasoning, brown gravy, turkey gravy, sloppy joe, etc.

Reese's cups can be found at some of the underground stalls in Namdaemun. The cashews can also be had at Namdaemun; look for the carts loaded up with legumes and dried fruits. As for the fiction, I thought Kyobo had a decent enough selection; and there's the option of e-books now.

I stock up on canned chickpeas evry time I leave the capital. The Shinsegae department store at Central City bus terminal has them and they were even on sale last Saturday (which made them only moderately overpriced).
